| Description | (Annexed is an account of goods sent off from Soho, 16-23 May.) Sir, I had the pleasure of writing to you the 16th instant. The present shews you an account of the sales this last week. On Saturday last the following persons visited Soho: Lord and Lady Villiers with some gentlemen; Lord Abergavenny with some gentlemen and ladies. Both were disapointed in seeing so little in the shew rooms. I conducted them over the Manufactory; they saw the engine at work and express'd satisfaction. Mr. Legge was here and enquir'd when you would be at home; he wants to see you. No body else of any particular note hath arrived. I have the honour to be, sir, your obedient humble servant, John Hodges
