| Description | (Annexed is an account of sales from Soho, 31 May-6 Jun.) Sir, My last to you I had the pleasure of addressing this day sevennight. Annex'd is an account as usual. Mr. Adam MP and his family were here, wish'd much to see you; he saw the manufactory and engine and express'd much satisfaction thereat, desired his compliments to you and said that he was an assistant in procuring [you] the bill for the steam engines. Ingle, esquire ([whose] place of residence I could not learn), also some lord (whose name I could not learn, he being attended with no servants), visited Soho, also several other genteel companies. No orders from them were given. All the or moulu goods are arrived (except the King's clock case and Minerva). The Toy Room now makes an elegant appearance. I am (in haste), sir, your very obedient humble servant, John Hodges
