Date12 April 1792
Description[I have got Dies of the Serment du Roi & J. J. Rousseau, & can get some made from La Fayette without waiting for the Punch which was sent to Dumarest. As to the striking 10 or 12 tons of Sous: there remains about 15 tons of large size [Blanks] which may be struck without any change, but to strike more all the Layers in must be altered and the Milling although the difference in diameter is so small. As to the pieces of 240 in the pound, the power required to strike them is so small that the cheapest and quickest way would be to do them entirely by hand.]
