TitleLetter. James Lawson (Soho) to Matthew Boulton [London].
LevelItem
Date14 April 1792
Description[I have made the enclosed 6 pieces, which I hope are what you wished. The original Guineas and Guage cannot be found, and suppose you took them with you. In making pieces similar to the enclosed, the Copper requires two Cuttings Out and the centre piece must be accounted as waste: the silver makes a third Cutting out. I have got Medal Dies ready both for Serment du Roi and for J. J. Rousseau, also the Reverse for La Fayette I have got from Ponthon and am making a Punch from it.]
