Description[Herewith you will receive, the Model of the Mint and Plan. Also 1 piece of gold, 1 gilt, 4 silver, with new Britannia and inscription edge: 2 silver, 1 gilt, with Cordon edge: 10 pieces of copper, with inscription edge. The 2 silver and 1 gilt with cordon edge, were struck in Bush’s Press without turning, all the others were struck in the new Press and you will notice the difference of polish. Droz has found so many little things to do and never thinks of time: he is at present striking the gilt pieces with the old Britannia. I send also, a parcel containing Blanks, fine and common rolled: 56 letter Punches and Counter Dies.]
