| Description | Dear Sir, I have just received your esteem’d favor per coach, and am much concern’d to hear you have had fresh obstacles. However, I trust your perseverance—which I confess hath been put to severe proof—will at last bring you thro’ all difficulties and totally defeat your opponents of every description. I hear inclose your Narrative, which you desired might be sent, also Perrier’s agreement, as I send by the coach a letter from Mr. Bindley to Mr. Walker on account of his friend. Pray don’t inform Mr. F— that I propose going to Ostend, as I shall not inform Messrs. B. & F. till I am ready to go, but shall give you due notice. Mrs. M— joins in best compliments and respects. I remain yours sincerely, Wm. Matthews [Edited transcript.] |
