Dear Sir/
Mrs. James the Bearer hereof is the Person I have engaged to be your Housekeeper & I most sincerely hope she will suit you-she appears to me to be just the sort of Character to undertake your Service-& when you call on Mrs. Warren she will give her an undeniable Character I am sure for she has said to me every thing in her favor that I cou'd wish for you.-I write this merely, that you may not be surpriz'd at the appearance of a Stranger.
