[Why cannot the whole of the Copper Coinage be ready in time for the Company’s Packet now under despatch? I wished to begin immediately a new Coinage for 1787 and I have strong hopes of extending greatly the Plan for 1788. Do not neglect forwarding Dubs as fast as they can be got in readiness: [Draft reply:] The whole of the 18 tons of Copper you sent is all worked up, but there is 1/3 sissell.
