Description[My son Jack writes from Rome, that the Prince Lambertini desires him to beg Mr. Boulton to give him a proof of his ability as a Coiner, wishes much for one of his Halfpence. He desires to have a small Fire Engine to place in his Palace at Bologna, for the purpose of pumping water into a cistern for supplying the kitchens &c., but of a diminutive size, not more than 1 in. or 1½ in Cylinder. The Prince is a man of much consequence and is a great optician and mechanic, who employs most of his time in his workshops: he is frequently in want of Tools, and desires to have one of the Books, which our manufacturers circulate over Europe containing Copper Plates of all sorts of tools for Carpenters, Blacksmiths, Turners, Watchmakers &c. Count Molinari, a Milanese of good family, will in a few weeks visit Soho: he wants many things in your city towards fitting up a large house he has just built. Pray does your Coinage for the Monnerons go on briskly? The proceedings in France are so very extraordinary that it is not easy to say how or when their troubles will end.]
