Mr. Scale presents respects to Mr Boulton & informs him that he yesterday took an opportunity of seeing Mr Glover respecting the valuation he put upon the House, wch according to his judgement is perfectly correct, & the sum he named agreeing with what Mrs S & her friends had thought as a proper valuation, whe had made up her mind to meet Mr Boultons Ideas,-Mr S- is commissioned by his Mother to say that she is willing to let Mr Boulton have it for 2000£ wch is the lowest she can think of taking;-if this proposal is not approved she begs an answer, as soon as convenient whether she may be considered at liberty to offer Terms to other Persons.
