| Description | (Postscript only. Docketed 30 Dec. 1785, but noted below in pencil "Probably later than 1785.") PS. Mr. Wedgwood sends every good wish to Mr. Boulton & his family on the present season, & congratulates him on his safe arrival once more at Soho. He wishes to know, only in three words at present, if things go on prosperously in Cornwall, & in as many words as he pleases what he thinks of the French treaty of commerce,—of Mr Edens appointment (abstracted from party considerations Mr W. thinks it a good thing)—of the support of the Genl. Chamber of Manufacturers, & if Mr. B. will be at home about the 9th or 10th of next Month. Mr W. wishing much for a little conversation with him, will, if possible, wait upon him about that time. [Noted by Zaccheus Walker:] This was annexed to Mr. Wedgwood’s L’re (upon Pottery Business) dated Etruria 31st: Decemr: 1785 per ZW |
