Dear Sir
I have this Moment received Your favor of yesterday, And in regard to the Bonds-my Anxiety was cheifly for fear they had miscarried, not having heard the least tidings of them till now.
You'll be pleased to observe that it has never been thought necessary to have more than one proprietor for each Share in all the 7 Bonds we have given nay in some of them I have signed for myself & the Albion Mill Compy-I believe in point of Law there is no difference Mr. Wolff is Acquainted with the Circumstance
I am glad to hear from You that Mrs. Wyatt & Louisa are well as I have not heard of them for a Week past. I am in high Spirits there seems a dawn of hope in our favor Mr. Frere & Sr John Call Breakfasted Yesterday Morning with Mr. Rose, the Object was to shew the advantageous situation of our premises to Governmt. After leaving him, Mr. R- they came to the Mill & I accompanied them to the Tobacco Warehouses Tower-hill, where we had a conference with Mr. Cosma Gordon the Officer who has the Managemt- of that departmt. he came last Night to view our premises, he falls in to the scheme .
I have inclosed sent you a Copy of the Qu- put to him & his answers; also a paper I have wrote to accompany them which I am this Inst. going with to Mr. Rose. Mr. Gordon thinks the premises will be very cheap at 6000£ per Yr. but you'll see I have fix'd them at 7000£-& I mean to get the Wharfage from the Merchts. which will amt. to 700£ per Yr. to keep the buildg in repair. I shall immediately begin to make a plan for them so that you must keep Mrs. W- for I cannot leave this week
I am Dr Sir
Yours very Sincerely
S. Wyatt
I really believe we shall make something of this business with Governmt.
