| Description | 27 January 1773. Sir, I have received the favor of your letter with the enclousres, and am extreamly sorry my indisposition prevented me the pleasure of seeing you when you called at my door. I wrote, upon finding you had called, to Lord Dartmouth, not knowing your address, explaining to him the cause of our not meeting, and saying I should be glad if it had been convenient to you to have called upon me at one c'clock to-day, and I find His Lordship was at a loss in the same manner. Your letter to-day has cleared up that difficulty, and therefore I now trouble you to desire you wou'd be so good as call upon me tomorrow at one o'clock, when I shall be very happy to see you and talk over the business. I am, sir, your most obedient humble servant, John Robinson Mr. Boulton [Edited transcript.] |
