Dear Sir,
As you will have occasion to enter into a treaty on my account with gentlemen whom I at present have not the honor to know, I hereby empower you to act for me, and to conclude any treaties you may think for my interest, either upon the subject of the purchase of the bells, the refineing of them, and their application to certain uses, as well as of the coinage of France.
