| Title | Indenture of agreement between (i) Joseph Fitter, of St. Martin’s parish, Birmingham, toymaker, (ii) Thomas Albutt, apprentice to Joseph Fitter, and (iii) Matthew Boulton and John Fothergill of Birmingham, toymakers; reciting that William Chambers and Edward Arnold Church, wardens of the parish of Tamworth, and John Mander and Thomas Biddle, overseers of the poor of the same parish, by an indenture of 7 Jun. 1762, placed (ii), then a poor child of the parish, as apprentice to (i) till the age of 21 years. By the present indenture (ii) assigns his rights in the former indenture to (iii). It is further agreed that (i) shall continue to provide (ii) with food and lodging, for a stated consideration.
