| Description | Dear Friend, On the 5th instant I sent you: An abstract of the attested accounts which I delivered to you, dated 2d August 1800. Copy of resolutions of my creditors authorising proceedings at law. A memorandum shewing part of Mr. Hog's conduct relative to dividends, with some notes of mine thereon. With this I send you: Copy of a letter I wrote to Mr. George Home the 9th instant, who, as representative of Douglas Bank, is my principal creditor in Scotland; that gentleman is the first principal clerk in the Court of Session, an eminently a respectable character. Copy of resolutions made by Carron Company when you was present with Mr. Baxter and Mr. Hog, authorising Mr. Hog to refer to their books.
