| Description | Sir, I received your circular letter of the 6th instant and assure you that nothing would afford me more pleasure and satisfaction than to see the affairs of F. Garbitt & Co., with those of Mr. C. Gascoigne, as well as of S. G., brought to a final settlement, and I as an individual would with pleasure sacrifice my own interest many times told to accomplish so desireable an object: but the trust reposed in me as assignee for Mr. Garbett's creditors, who are materialy interested in Mr. Gascoigne's discharge, renders it necessary I should have an opportunity of knowing their sentiments before I give my answer, which I will endeavour to obtain. I am, sir, your most obedient servant, M. B. |
