You will see by the enclosed to and from Mr. Nicholls that I am far from easy. I think a new assignee should be chose, and that I should now close our accounts. Mr. Nicholls's refusal very much disconcerts me, but I find it necessary to bring my affairs to an issue, tho' at present I don't see how to do it properly. Pray think of it and let me have your opinion; it must be done.
