DescriptionConcerning the passports for the workmen which had been sent by The Sociable coach which puts up at the George Inn Decker. Smirnove has made an application to Mr Flint on the subject of English passports, and encloses the Count's passport for Mrs Walker and her son. Also concerns Sobakin's poor health, and requests a certificate from Dr Carmichael to say he is unable to travel.

Also asks his 'private' opinion of the Russian workmen, and reassures Boulton that Mr Lizel is only constructing a steam engine model as a souvenier and not for the government or any other purpose.
