Description2 pcs with bundle wrapper for James Harley copies 1802.
The letter mostly deals with Sheriff's claim that Harley is at fault for want of a section of the engine house to fix the situation of the windows, for which Boulton says he will send a new plan and advises Harley to take care of. He also notes that James Duncan has been sent a copy of the list of articles sent and desires Harley to inform him if he finds the several parts of the engine and in what state they are in. The letter also stresses that the foundations of the buildings must necessarily be fixed 'as firm as a rock' to prevent the machinery from becoming 'deranged', and mentions Alexis Ollenien [Olenin].
