The first 4 folders (1-46) relate to John Southern's claim. There is a bundle wrapper (1a) in the first folder which reads 'Copies: discus[sio]n of J S's Claims', and a wrapper in the second folder (17a) which reads 'Discussion relative to the Claims preferred by J Southern in regard to the Improvements in Mint Machinery. 1809 - 1810.'
