Dear Sir
I have just received your favor of 9 inst and am very much obliged by your kind attention to my little commission for Mr Gill. I have no doubt of his having furnished me with excellent blades as the commission was given him by you.
I thank you very sincerely for your friendly wishes on the occasion of my marriage which took place near three weeks since. I shall be very happy to introduce Mrs J. W. to you at Etruria whenever you will favor me with a visit.
