| Description | "Information of the shipping of the piano-forte to Cornwall." (There is a postscript dated 31 May.) Sir The Ship Prince of Wales in which the Instrument was shipt, as per inclosed, arrived at Falmouth the 9th. instant and within a week of that date her whole Cargo must have been discharged therefore I have no doubt you will find Mr Wilson has been in possession of this package sometime & particularly as I wrote to him at the time of shipping to advise him of the Vessels Name &c the bill £77. 2. 6 was paid by Mrs M & charged in BW & Cos Account—the ten guineas afterward received was carried to the credit of the same I am Sir Your most obed Serv Jno Woodward London Street Mar. 28th. 1801 March 31st. Since writing yesterday I have heard other Accounts of Mr Usborne but not more favourable and it is I think not prudent to enter into any dealings with him. I have not heard from Philpot yet with the bill.
