DescriptionDear Matt,
This will be deliver'd to you by Mr. Geredot, the sub director of the English South Sea Company and brother to the late banker at Paris who fell a victim to French fury. The subject is too affecting to mention. Mr. Geredot is a gentleman of most respectable character, and, as he proposes to pass through Birmingham in his road to Yorkshire and is desireous of seeing the principal manufacturys, I beg you will shew him Soho, as well as Mr. Clay's whips, &c., and every civility in your power which his respectability intitles him to.
I am, dear son, yours affectionately,
M. Boulton
Shew him latchets and specimens of money.
