Description"Drawing of the half-pie device inclosed. Stable alterations." (Directed to 15 Bond Street.)

Soho, February 18th, 1809.
Respected Sir,
I have received the honor of your Letter of yesterday to the contents of which every attention will be paid. Mr. Kuchler promises to use his best endeavours to meet your wishes in the correction of the oval rim of the Seal, and as he thinks it preferable to send you the drawing itself of the Half Pie, it is herein transmitted.
Conceiving you may expect a confirmation of the suggestion in my last respecting the Lathe, I state reluctantly that Monday is now fixed upon for the trial of its powers. I am glad to hear that Mr. Southern has conferr'd with Mr. Busch on the subject, as from their united talents every thing may be hoped.
The Stones for the Saddle House not having arrived according to expectation, I went yesterday to Percival & Co. to state the disappointment, and to consult what should be done.-Finding their mortification equal to my own and that the disappointment originates with Mr. Fereday, from whom on a recent occasion we were favored with extraordinary exertions, I have written a very pressing letter to him this morning, with which I have taken the liberty to send your Lad Samuel, and, if he returns in time, the result will be communicated at foot.
Webster has completed the Stable Floor and is now getting out the ground for the surf and ashes on the outside, and when this job is finish'd he will build the pier in front preparatory to the alteration of the doors.
I remain, Respected Sir, your obliged and obedient humble Servant,
Wm. Cheshire
Half-past four. Samuel is not yet return'd from Dudley.
M. Robinson Boulton, Esqr.
Bath.

Remarks accompanying the Drawing of the Half Pie.
"The Lion of the obverse may, in a great measure, be put in by a Punch taken from one of the Lion's supporter of the Arms-adding the Crown. The characters of the reverse will be furnished by Mr. Wilkins. The execution of this Die to follow that of the Pie."
