| Description | Soho Octr 16-1803 Gentlemen In consequence of my haveing observd the omission of my Sons name in Swinneys paper, I wrote to him by Thursdays post: to which I have just receivd the inclosd reply. I send it inclosed for your perusal, & beg leave to submit to your consideration, what are the most proper measures to be taken for correcting the mistake, & at the same time for preserving the date & order of his appointment. I presume it can only be done by an application to the Lord Lieutenant & by his sending an new corrected list to the War office in which no time should be lost I am with great respect Gentlemen Your faithfull & Obedt Servt Mattw.
