The executors of the late Mr. Barker present their respectl. Compts. to Matt. Boulton Esqr & inform him that the extensive & highly estimable collections of Coins and Medals, Prints, & Books of the late Mr. G H Barker are intended to be disposed of. Presuming upon the earnest anxiety which Mr. Boulton has ever expressed for the sciences and the literary & polished direction of his mind, and at the same time wishing that collections so entire may not be distributed into various hands, they take the liberty of offering him all or any of the collections. The Executors will be much obliged by an answer, as early as Mr. B conveniently can. Birmm. Augt. 22. 1802 |
