Sir, I have the honor to transmit you by to days Post a Birmingham Paper, containing the Resolutions of a Meeting of the Inhabitants of the Town and Neighbourhood convened for the purpose of considering the best means of celebrating the Coronation of His Majesty in this Town, by which you will perceive that by the eighth Resolution it is proposed that there shall be a Ball at the Theatre. I have now the honor to state to you that the Committee appointed at that Meeting, acting upon the instructions of the 8th resolution, have decided that Tuesday the 24th instant will be the most eligible day for the Ball, and have instructed me, by a Resolution passed at a Meeting to day, respectfully to solicit yourself and Mrs Boulton (with the Earl and Countess of Dartmouth, the Earl and Countess of Aylesford, Lord and Lady Newport, and the Ladies and Gentlemen whose Names are on the other side) to honor the Ball with your patronage, and, if compatible with your convenience, with your presence.
