| Description | Dear Sir I received the catalogues with your obliging note, but I do not immediately understand, when you say that "you have marked off such Books as you could wish to purchase" whether you refer to the books of coins & medals or to particular books in the catalogue of the library. If you will have the goodness to point out what are the desiderata with you I will take an early opportunity of settling some plan of sale. I have taken the liberty of making the above enquiry because the medals & coins being distinct interests will probably be disposed of by a different mode to that which may be adopted with the respect to the books. I am Dr Sir respecty Yr. oblid: Hble sert Geo Barker Birm Decr. 24. 1802 |
