Bennetts Hill April 20th. 1838. My Dear Sir, My friend Mr. Crompton tells me Mr. Fry is a merchant and has a family of six Children, the eldest of whom is twelve years old, but he speaks of him as most highly respectable and honourable as well as a monied man and says he is very particular in his family and every thing about him.
