| Description | "Report of interview with Mrs. Mosley, and suggestions thereon." Fenchurch Street 24 Augt. 1832 My dear Sirs On my return to Town from Yorkshire where I have been on account of the death of my Mother I found that Mr Mosley had died during my absence and having received a Note from Mrs Mosley desiring to see me I yesterday had a long and painful Interview with her and one of her Daughters-They are naturally in deep affliction and being anxious for some communication with You I promised to write to You for the purpose of ascertaining whether either of You were likely to be in Town soon and I had commenced my letter when Mr Stonebridge called upon me-there are no precautionary measures which it occurs to me to sugges to You-indeed none will be necessary if Mrs Mosley acts as she states it to be her desire to do with reference to You-It does not appear that Mr Mosley has left any Will and therefore the course will be for his Widow to administer to his Effects but she will not take even this step until after I have heard from You-When she has administered she will be liable to the Extent of Mr Mosley's property for any Debt which he may be found to owe to You-she expresses her anxious hope that when the accounts have been made up they will not wear such a ruinous aspect towards her and her Daughters as when You were here & we shall of course all participate in that Hope whatever our fears may be- As to the Time of her removal from the House it will of course rest with You to say when she should go-perhaps a Month or Six Weeks may not be thought an unreasonable Time.- I shall be very glad to hear from You & to act as You may direct & I remn.
