| Description | "Button merchants' meeting." (Annexed is the text of an advertisement giving notice of a general meeting of the merchants, &c., of buttons in Birmingham. The date above is that of the notice; the letter is undated.) Dear Sir Annexed is a Copy of an Advertisement which is gone to the Printers for Insertion on Monday-if you wish your Name to appear-please to give Mr Pearson a Note to that purpose.
