Description"Purchase of stock and wine."

London, 30th August 1822.
Dear Madam,
I duly received your favor of 15th, which I should have replied to sooner had I been able to collect the whole of the charges upon the wine, which I have at length done, and on the other side you have the particulars, amounting to £55. 16. 6, for which your account with this firm is debited.
Inclosed you have transfer receipt for £1000 3 per cent. Consols, purchased in your name, for the cost of which, £806. 5, your account with the firm is debited. I have not been able yet to meet with any North Wiltshire cheese suitable to my palate, and as you say it is not wanted for immediate use I deferred sending it until I could get some prime, which I hope to do in a day or two.
Mrs. Brown's eldest daughter was married on Monday last at Radburn, and I hear they went off immediately to Windsor for some days, and upon their return they go to Paris, and meet Mrs. Brown and her party at Ramsgate about three weeks hence, when they return to England. Mrs. Mosley begs me to present her best respects to you, and joins me in wishing you health, and I am, dear madam, your much obliged,
John Mosley
Mr. Boulton is now in London and appears in excellent health.
