| Description | (Includes a list of the prices of articles sent.) List by Mary Anne Boulton of items received from Miss Cooper, 7 May 1818. List of items received from Miss Cooper, 7 May 1818.
Madam, I received your letter by this morning's post, and send immediately the things that are done. I should have sent on Saturday evening, but had not received either your straw hats, or the corsets from Mrs. Rollinson [i.e. Rawlinson]. The latter are not yet come; I will forward them as soon as I get them from her, with some other little things I shall have finished this evening, which I will not detain the box for, as you will find it contains a few patterns of the plain linen. I will not fail to send a few more in a day or two. I beg pardon for this hurried note, and I am, madam, your most obedient servant, Catharine Cooper
C. Cooper states below the price of the little things she now sends- Night shirt, 5/6. Cambric shirt, 7/6. Bedgown, 14/-. Cambric under cap, 6/-. Petticoat, 10/6. Night cap, 5/6. Pinafore, 4/6. Square napkin, 4/-. Long do., 4/6. C. Cooper did not know if Mrs. Boulton would prefer the double or single napkins; therefore sends one of each. The single or long ones [are] sometimes preferred on account of drying more readily. They take an equal quantity of diaper, but Mrs. Boulton will observe there is a difference in the quality of the diaper, which causes the difference in price.
