I performd my Journey agreeable to my Plan & much better than I expected—my engagements last night totaly prevented me from writeing wch. pray excuse—I dined wth. Docter Simpson Yesterday he has lett his house & is going at Lady day to live in Yorkshire—I dined to day wth. Mr Gascoin & Mr Garbett to morrow am engaged at Jeffrys, & on Fryday at Cantrells wth. ye other 2 Gentn. that were with him at our House indeed I have Invitations for 3 dinners a day if I could eat them—a report prevails strongly to day that the much beloved Prince of Bruswick & his amiable princes are Cast away its said that a Boat man at Harwich has taken his oath that he saw the Ship Sink but I pray it may not be true. I am at Creamers & beg that what ever is sent my be directed to me there as the Strand is too far you have my sincere wishes & most ardent Prayers being
my dear
