‘ Dear Sir
The inclosed will sufficiently explain the Intention of my present Address. If you will have the Goodness to direct some proper Person to wait on Mr Cline for the needful you will much oblige Mr & Miss Boulton, & pray let as little Time be lost as possible, for Miss B has already suffer’d some Rheumatic Pains for want of an earlier Application.
I am, in great haste,
Dear Sir,
your ob’t huml Servt
Wm Cheshire.’

And copy letter. William Cheshire (Soho) to Henry Cline [London]. 23 Dec. 1802.
Soho Decr 23d 1802.
‘ Henry Cline Esqr
Sir,
I am directed by Miss Boulton to take the Liberty of informing you, that the Plaister you furnished for her Knee has been highly beneficial in strengthening the Joint & securing it from Cold. But it has now been woren so long that its adhesive Quality is gone, & Miss Boulton is therefore anxiously desirous of replacing it with a new One.
If it will not be imposing on you, Sir, too great Trouble Miss Boulton will take it very kind of you to send her a new Plaister through the Hands of the Person who will present to you this Letter & who will receive your Instructions respecting the Time of waiting upon you for it.
As Miss Boulton is strongly impressed with the Idea of the great Impropriety of giving you so much Trouble she directs me to suggest how much she shall feel herself oblig’d if you will have the Goodness to point out the Means by which a Repetition thereof may be avoided, by directed Application to the Person who prepares the Plaisters in Question, or otherwise.
I am, with great Respect,
Sir,
your most ob’t huml Servt
Wm Cheshire.’
