‘ Sir
I have expected the Gentleman who carries this, woud have gone to Soho some week’s since and as he promised to take me some money to Mr Hodges I delay’d replying to your letter. The fish knife you mention I purchased of Mr Richards, at Mr Boultons request. I carried several for his inspection, he made choice of the one he now has, which he said I must not pay for, as there was an account between Mr Richards & the plating Co, I am Sir
Your oblig’d humble Servt
M: Keen.’
