DescriptionHas spoken to Matthew Boulton briefly about Price’s house, advising him that he had directed Smith to do only “what appears to be absolutely necessary to secure Mr. Price’s family a dry winter residence”; and Boulton agreed they should defer every other consideration to the following spring. Smith is therefore instructed to repair certain parts of the roof, and also the chimneys, if they are in danger of falling.
