Dear Sir,
Permit me to request that you will, when quite convenient, pay Mess’rs Burrows Lane & Co £1..3..6, the Am’t of the inclosed Bill of Parcels & charge the same to M’r Boulton’s Private Acc’t in the Books of Mess’rs M & R Boulton J & G Watt & Co, & in conformity I shall in due course credit said Acc’t in my Books for the Payment thereof.
Being about to remit Mess’rs Wheble & Co I think it proper to send you a Copy of their Acc’t & shall be glad if you will say whether or no you consider it right as I have no other Means of knowing if any Part thereof has been paid by you.
