Saturday Evening I returned from a Journey which I have been in the Counties of Hampshire & Sussex, & recvd your Letter requesting by desire of Mr. Boulton my report of the Survey of the Trademens Accounts employed at Miss Boultons House. which I have to acquaint you for the information of Mr. Boulton that I am of opinion the Tradesmen are entitled to the Sum of the Amounts in the Abstract. a Copy of which was left with your and their Bills, by me in Septr. last.
Mr. Dixons account I will send you as soon as possible. which cannot be completed at present on account of Mr. Dixon being very Ill who has been laid up ever since his return from Lord Dudley’s.
I have by your request this day sent the five Drawings of Chimney pieces which I recvd from you in March last. to Salisbury Square sealed up & directed to Mattw. Boulton Esqr¬. Soho House.
I have to beg you will be pleased to give my duty to Mr Boulton. and my most gratefull thanks for the honor of his present. the Coins I recvd and esteem it a particular favor. which I shall preserve as a token of his Friendship and Ingenuity.

I understand in my Abcence that a small Box with two pices of Staturary Marble enclosed was sent by the Coach, by mistake directed for Mr Boulton. these pieces of Marble are intended for you as you requested that I woud procure you of the same quality as the Chimy. Pices made for Mr. Boulton. I hope they will answer your intendd. Purpose
