| Description | ‘Mr Boulton requests you will have the goodness to excuse him for giving you this further trouble respecting the Wine he wrote for on the 17th inst, which arises from his having understood, that the present season of the year is considered improper for the removal of Wine – he therefore begs that you will omit sending any part of the quantity bespoke till the Month of March next, & Mr Boulton thinks it would be well to seal all the corks. [ps] As a preference is due to some particular Channels of Water Conveyance, Mr Boulton will give you timely advice by whose Boats he considers the Wine will be most likely to come safe.’ |
