| Description | Sep. 1806. (Press-copy of an original in the hand of William Cheshire.) M’r Boulton requests the favor of Messrs Boulton Watt & Co to present his respectful compliments to Mr Rennie & to inform him that M’r Boulton will always have a bed at his service; that it would give him pleasure to see Messrs Morrison & Atkinson, but having 5 beds occupied by Mr Dumergue’s family he is precluded, at this time, from the gratification it wou’d have afforded him to accommodate those Gentlemen with beds also. M’r Boulton is not apprized of the object of the journey here alluded to, & woud be glad if Messrs Boulton Watt & Co coud give him some information upon the subject. Soho House Sepr 15 1806 |
