| Description | Soho Decr 13th 1806 Mr P. D’Arcy Sir, I am desired to inform you, in replying to the letters which you have sent to M’r Boulton, that nothing could be more ill-timed & improper than the visit you propose making to Soho. The present state of Mr Boulton’s health; the injunctions of the Faculty; & his own feelings require him to be totally secluded from all his acquaintance, as the only probable means of mitigating the painful progress of his disorder & of enabling him to dedicate his mind to those important objects which are suitable to the present critical state of his health.
