I have now the honor to request Your Lordship’s acceptance of Specimens, sent herewith, from a die I have had engraved in my Manufactory for the Heroes of Trafalgar, to each of whom I intend to present a Medal as a gratified tribute due to their merits, & as a kind of record of the important events of the last battle fought by the glorious and immortal Nelson, whose Portrait is considered by his most intimate Friends to be a tolerable correct likeness.
