M’r Wm Henshall Sir, Inclosed you have Mr Boulton’s draft value One Hundred Pounds which he hopes you will consider a sufficient payment for the two Marble Chimney Pieces sent him last Midsummer, the Marble Dust, which accompanied them having been returned. If you should not acquiesce in the above Mr Boulton begs you will allow him to omit paying the balance ’till he has an opportunity of investigating the grounds upon which the idea has been built of there having been a mistake in the charge of the Chimney Pieces.
