Description‘The present situation of this once happy mansion must excite in your feeling mind sentiments of the most lively sympathy. You have no doubt heard, or soon will hear, from other Channels that Mr. R. Boulton has kept his Bed for the last four days & have already, no doubt, anticipated the effect of this calamity upon the anxious mind of the most affectionate of Fathers. It seems therefore only necessary for me to state to you that Mr. R.B. is better this morning than could be expected after four successive sleepless nights & that his honoured Father has not suffered so much in health as might have been expected from the great depression of his spirits…’
