DescriptionSir,
I have inclosed as above, in favour of Mr Boulton, the balance with a receipt you will please to return. My repeated Journeys from home for nearly four months, has prevented me from sending sooner, in short, it quite escapt my Memory or it should have been sent before.
I feel myself as extremely ill used by being unjustly deprived of Mr Boulton’s business, which, the first moment I have it in my power, I shall represent to him, but all this is nothing to Mr Cheshire as it is quite foreign to his concerns, I believe the Gardeners of Lord Dartmouth, Mr Legge, Mr Birch, Mr Taylor, Mr Spooner, Sir E.C. Hartopps & many, many more round Birmingham to be quite as good and as respectable as Mr Boultons - & yet my articles are all good enough for them tho not for Mr. Boulton.
