DescriptionMy Dear Sir,
Last night I had the honor of receiving a letter written by your own dear hand, which I shall keep as long as I live, I cannot tell you the pleasure it gave me, independent of the contents it contained, for which I beg you will accept my best thanks, indeed my feelings are so overcome by your repeated liberality and generosity to me, that I cannot find words to express my gratitude. I hope when the weather gets warmer you will be able to change your room and take the fresh air. I have suffered great pain from the Rhumatism, the severe cold which we have had brought it on, and I seldom slept till morning, but the alteration of the weather has quite recovered me. My daughter begs leave to unite with me in wishing you and yours every happiness and many returns of this day. I remain my dear Sir, your ever oblig’d and humble servant, Mary keen.
