DescriptionAsks the reason why medals were not presented to the Africa’s officers for the Trafalgar action; they were ordered to South America soon afterwards and have not received any. “It’s my particular wish to get one to keep as a memento of that glorious battle, which I had the honor to be engaged in.” Brattle has disembarked from the ship, and is presently at the Woolwich Division of the Royal Marines. (Signed by Brattle as 1st Lieutenant.)
