Respected Sir,
I am sorry that my absence from home yesterday afternoon deprived me of the favor of your commands, which would not have happened if I had been aware of the slightest probability of your going to Town. My only reason for troubling you so soon is to inclose a Key which Samuel forgot to hand you, owing to the hurry of packing up.
